intersections: art and law at the border

  • Thomas Jefferson School of Law, San Diego 701 B Street San Diego, CA 92101 United States (map)

This event will examine the intersection of art praxis and legal issues with a focus on the border region. Artists, lawyers, scholars, and students are invited to explore, complicate, and expand our understandings of how art and law intermingle in form, ownership, exhibition and dissemination, as well as the public's relationship to art and art institutions through a legal lens.

Unicorn Sam Mazzeo will be presenting a workshop at this event, along with Art Neill of New Media Rights, about intellectual property in the digital age.

Presented by California Lawyers for the Arts in partnership with Thomas Jefferson School of Law's Public Interest Law Foundation.
